Ok, I may be a little biased, but they're the cutest family you'll ever lay your eyes on! My sister is the best mommy, and my brother in law has so much love for both of the women in his life. Baby Quinn is too much for words, so I'll just let the pictures try and do her justice! I love them dearly, and I know you will too! Enjoy :)
*Of course me and Jess had to get in on the cuteness overload!*
Was Fantabulous!! So much good food and company :) I even took some family photos for my sister (will post soon). Here's a little sneak peek into what I wore. An outfit post if you will. Hope everyones Thanksgiving was as good as mine!! XOXO
Happy Wednesday. Tomorrow's Thanksgiving. Can you believe it? Where did the time go!? I can't wait.
I am beyond honored to have one of my favorite people (and my first blogger friend!) here to share with you all that she's thankful for! And believe me there is quite a lot she should be thankful for. First let me tell you, she is the most generous person I've met in a long time. So sweet and not to mention TALENTED to the max. Gorgeous and a wonderful wife and mommy to the cutest munchkin in the entire world! Enjoy: )
I was so honored and excited when Tori asked me to guest post on her blog
today. I love Tori and her blog...she's so darn cute, and she's such a sweetheart!
(And quite a talented, budding photographer too, might I add).
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought this would be a great time to remember everything I am thankful for. Yesterday afternoon, I found out that my grandfather passed away. He lived a very long, full life, and had been sick for awhile. I was also not all that close to him since he lived in another country, but it still stung my heart to hear that he had passed away. And it made me think about my life, my family, and my health. All things that I am so, so grateful to have this year.
I'm a very lucky gal. I have a lot of wonderful things in my life. The trials I have had to overcome in the past, while challenging, have never been absolutely devastating. I really have it pretty easy compared to some people in the world that are dealing with enormous loss, pain, or discomfort.
I have an amazing husband, who is such a wonderful man in every way. He treats me with so much love and respect. We have so much fun together, and we truly are best friends. I know there are so many people this season who are alone and lonely, or are dealing with a broken heart. Today, I am thankful for the incredible joy that my husband brings me...
I also have the most amazing two year old girl. She's healthy, and happy, and so smart. She is the light of my life and can bring a smile to my face like no one else can. It's completely indescribable how amazing it is watch her grow up. I know there are many people this season who are yearning for a child of their own. Or who are dealing with a loss of a child, or the major health problems of their little ones. Today, I am thankful for my daughter, such a little momma's girl...

But there's still so much more...I have an amazing mother....really, really amazing...

...and a wonderful and loving father, stepmom, and sister (and let's not forget about my really cute nephew!) I know there are so many people out there that come from broken families, or have bad relationships with their families and friends. Today, I am so thankful for all of the people in my life...my friends...my family, and for all of their unconditional love and support.
And in a world where there is so much physical pain, today, I am so thankful for my health, my body, and my mind. I have truly been blessed with such good health, and so have the important people in my life.
I have a job, a roof over my head, and a nice car to drive. I wear nice clothes, and eat good food. I am blessed in so many facets of my life...well, in pretty much every facet of my life! The trials and tribulations I have had to endure in the past have made me stronger, and have made me the person I am today, and for that reason, I am even grateful for the challenges life has thrown at me.
I know this may all sound very sappy and cliche, but I really truly am thankful for so much this year.
I hope that everyone out there has just as many amazing things to be thankful for this year.
It's taken me a good while to be able to find an exercise and "diet" that fits me just right. When I was in high school I could eat anything and everything, and believe me I took full advantage. Maybe it was my fast metabolism, or the fact that I played soccer almost everyday. Regardless, those days are far behind me. With so many unhealthy foods out there I thought I would share some of the things that help me be as healthy and strong as possible, both physically and mentally.
Eat right, not light!
I can't stress enough how important it is to not deprive yourself of the foods you love. If you do cut out everything all together, instead of just having a small portion, you're sure to go all out, and PIG out.
Healthy food does not mean yucky food!
There are so many delicious foods out there that have little calories, and keep you both full and happy. And I'm not just talking salads! (although I do love me a good salad).
Not everyone has the time to workout everyday, just stay active! Skip the elevator and take the stairs. Go on a walk outside. Park a little further away then you normally would. Its not about working out like crazy, its about finding the time to "go the extra mile".
Drink your water!
This one is the hardest for me, but it does help! 6 bottles a day is what you should strive for. It will keep you hydrated, un-bloated, and lean!
Hope this helps! Just remember it's not what the scale says. I dont even own one! Its about feeling your best and loving yourself!
With Thanksgiving approaching faster then I ever thought posible, I thought I would write a post each day leading up to the holiday with something I'm thankful for.
I'd be half the person I am today without their constant love and support. I am truly blessed and wonder how I got so lucky! Regardless, I am lucky, and SO thankful for having them in my life. Love you bunches!
I thought it would be fun to do the Restless Blog Hop, hosted by Christato meet some new blogging friends! I'm trying my best to reach out and make new friends on here, so if you stop by and see something you like, fear not, there's more where that came from :)
I'm a fun loving, free spirited, 20 year old.
The name of my blog, Keep Calm and Carry On, came about from the idea that everyone in life has their own struggles. Im here to tell you that with love from friends and family, you can make it through even the toughest situatuions! And if you ever need someone to talk or vent to, or seek advice from, let me tell you I'm your girl!
Thanks to my blogger friend Kyna, Ive been playing around with Photoshop! I love taking pictures so it seemed like the next step! I can't thank her enough for being so kind, to little old me :) Here are some things I've been dabbling with!
Stopped by to say hello to this munchkin before my flight! Safe to say I am OBSESSED!
